I. New Opportunities in Clinical Drug Research
Recently, our company, Pharmato, completed its first funding round, led by Enbo Life Sciences. This marks Pharmato's first external financing since its founding and represents a key step forward on our path to "reconstructing clinical trials with artificial intelligence." The proceeds will primarily support core technology iteration, refinement of our pharmaceutical AI agent product matrix, large-scale validation of our virtual clinical trial platform, and the building of a multidisciplinary team spanning clinical science, pharmacy, data science, and regulatory compliance.
Founded in 2025, Pharmato has remained focused on one thing: enabling virtual clinical trials and pharmaceutical AI agents to truly enter the actual production workflow of drug development. We are committed to studying the vast amount of high-value public data in the pharmaceutical field, combining it with proprietary clinical data, and building an interactive, auditable, and continuously learning pharmaceutical AI agent system around key areas such as trial protocol design, research center and subject matching, enrollment prediction, endpoint assessment, data quality management, and risk warning. Through integrated modeling of real-world data, historical trial data, protocol elements, and operational metrics, we help sponsors and CROs identify protocol risks, enrollment bottlenecks, and cost deviations earlier before trial initiation, and achieve finer-grained dynamic optimization during trial execution—thereby reducing trial-and-error costs, shortening R&D cycles, and improving evidence quality.
Traditional clinical trials have long faced pain points such as protocol design relying on experience, enrollment constrained by site capability and patient accessibility, and delayed data verification with fragmented systems. Our approach is to front-load these steps into a "simulatable, inferable, and reviewable" digital environment: on one hand, we use digital twins and causal inference methods to assess feasibility under different protocol assumptions; on the other hand, through agent orchestration, we connect protocol libraries, site libraries, patient profiles, endpoint adjudication rules, and medical writing workflows to form closed-loop assistance from design to execution. It is important to note that our product is positioned to augment professional judgment, not to replace medical and regulatory responsibility—all key outputs retain traceable evidence and human review mechanisms.
The completion of this first funding round has reinforced our principles of "compliance first, evidence-based, and scenario closed-loop." Going forward, we will prioritize refining our products in high-value indications and complex protocols, and work with sponsors, CROs, research institutions, and regulatory ecosystem partners to build standards and best practices, enabling agents to create real value in controlled, verifiable environments. We are deeply aware that clinical trials connect science, regulation, and patients—any efficiency improvement must be built on rigor and trustworthiness. This has been the bottom line Pharmato has set for itself since day one.
Pharmato aspires to be a reliable "intelligent foundation" in this chain: turning every trial into reusable organizational knowledge, and making every decision faster, more stable, and more explainable. We thank our investors and partners for their trust, and we look forward to working with the industry to move virtual clinical trials from concept to large-scale application.
At the same time, Pharmato already has mature products in pharmaceutical enterprise AI transformation and product development that have entered commercialization, including applications of pharmaceutical AI agents and pharmaceutical enterprise knowledge bases. In the future, we will invest more resources in virtual clinical trials and clinical new methodology research.
II. Seizing the Trend, Facing the Future
As the investor in this round, Enbo Life Sciences recognizes Pharmato's professional capabilities in pharmaceuticals and AI. First, the team has a clear understanding of clinical science, data governance, and regulatory compliance, and positions its products to augment professional judgment rather than replace medical responsibility—a rare quality in the healthcare AI field. Second, the company uses virtual clinical trials as a driving force, connecting protocol inference, site matching, enrollment prediction, endpoint assessment, and data quality management into a closed loop, addressing real industry pain points. Third, the team is pragmatic and disciplined, prioritizing verifiable product capabilities in high-value scenarios, with the potential to evolve from a point solution into platform-level infrastructure. Following the completion of this first funding round, a Pre-A round will begin in the near future.
Enbo Life Sciences has long focused on innovative companies in the life sciences field that possess foundational technological capabilities and clear clinical value. We believe that with the maturation of real-world data, digital twin, and agent technologies, clinical trials are accelerating from "experience-driven" to "data-and-model-collaborative-driven." The track Pharmato occupies is both a key node for R&D efficiency improvement and a typical scenario where AI capabilities truly enter controlled, auditable production workflows. Through the synergy of capital and industry resources, we hope to support the company in further refining its product matrix, strengthening its compliance system, and deepening cooperation with sponsors, CROs, and research institutions.
